TEBAR A.Ş. Expanded Its Notified Body and Accreditation Scope!
"Türkiye's accredited insulation laboratory with the most extensive scope" and "Türkiye's first notified testing laboratory", TEBAR Test Belgelendirme Araştırma ve Geliştirme Tic. A.Ş., added EN 16069 (thermal insulation products made of polyethylene foam for thermal insulation in buildings) to its service scope in 2019 in line with the industry's needs and demands, following thermal insulation materials, technical insulation materials, external thermal insulation systems, waterproofing sheets, ceramic tile adhesives and certain roof coverings. The relevant assessments were successfully carried out by the Turkish Accreditation Agency (TÜRKAK) on 10–11 December 2018.
Since 2009, TEBAR A.Ş. has carried out numerous physical tests, including thermal conductivity, compressive strength, reaction to fire, water absorption, dimensional stability, dimensions such as inside/outside diameter, circumference, wall thickness and length, watertightness, water vapour transmission, tensile properties, flexibility at low temperature and tensile adhesion of ceramic tile adhesives. Following its scope extension work, it also began offering tests for compressive creep of thermal insulation materials (TS EN 1606), water permeability of external thermal insulation systems and their components (TS EN 1062-3), and watertightness of liquid-applied roof waterproofing kits (EOTA TR003).
You can contact TEBAR A.Ş. to carry out product type determination (PTD) tests for the CE marking of polyethylene foam thermal insulation products to be placed on the market in accordance with EN 16069.
